今日读到通史第五百页，上面写到了欧洲的奴隶贸易者如何在非洲“抓壮丁”：

Raiding parties plundered villages and broke up families in their search for strong young men and women. The captives were then driven from dawn to dusk in the blazing heat and pouring rain, through thick jungles or over dry plains. The survivors who reached the coast were driven naked into the market like cattle.
